Nicco DeMasco - Keene State College Owls

Nicco is sitting out this semester after transferring from D2 Franklin Pierce College. He'll suit up for the owls after the New Year.

DeMasco Transfers to KSC

Nicco played in 16 games, starting 6, after transfering from Franklin Pierce. He averaged 18.5 minutes, 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots. He had highs of 16 points against Hunter College and 12 rebounds against NCAA sweet-16 bound Rhode Island College.

In this year's opening game win Vs. Rivier, Nicco played 15 minutes with 4 points and a game-high 7 rebounds.

Mid-season Update:

Nicco has started 6 of 11 games, averaging 14.0 minutes/g, 4.8 points/g and 5.2 rebounds/g. His best game was 14 points, 11 boards, and 2 blocks Vs. Fitchburg St. Keene State is 9-2 and 2-0 in the LEC conference. They were ranked nationally(#34) earlier in the year.

Nicco is a Junior this season at KSC.

Junior forward/center who is a local product from Richmond…a big guy who plays above the rim and can run the floor...can defend and rebound very well.

As a sophomore…Saw more action, playing 28 games for the Owls, starting 16…averaged 4.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg .9 spg and .8 bpg…had a double-double against Fitchburg State (11/19/10), scoring 14 and pulling down 11 boards.

As a freshman… Started 6 games after transferring in after half the season….scored a career high 16 points against Hunter College (1/03/10)and pulled down a career best 12 rebounds against Rhode Island College (1/09/10).
